Remembering the Four Girls Killed in the Birmingham Church Bombing

Fifty-eight years ago, on a beautiful Sunday morning in Birmingham, Alabama, four members of the Ku Klux Klan carried out a cowardly act of terror. They used 15 sticks of dynamite to bomb the 16th Street Baptist Church during morning church service. The terrorist bombing killed four Black school girls. On "The World Tonight," hosts Kelly Wright and Nayyera Haq honor the girls. They were 14-year-olds Cynthia Wesley, Carole Robertson, Addie Mae Collins and 11-year-old Denise McNair.
