I.B. English: Individual Oral: focus and balance practice timer, with follow-up questions

This video should be helpful to all I.B. Language A students preparing for the Individual Oral: Language & Literature or Literature. It's clear now that what I.B. is looking for in this IA is an academic oral presentation that is both focused and balanced. The focus is on a global issue of your choice, and how the global issue is presented in two different works. The balance is twofold: 1) between two different works AND 2) between an extract from each work and the work (or body of work) as a whole I made this for my students to help them visualize this sense of focus and balance as they build their orals. I also include in the video a five-minute question and answer section. These questions are quite general, but they are the type of questions that should be asked, based on my (evolving) understanding of the task and rubric.
