[TIER 18] SNOW OBBY // FIRST VICTOR

by vipsem I heard of this obby a while back and thought it was cool, so I decided to try it once it got verified. It seemed pretty doable at first, besides a few jumps which I was not yet consistent at. Once I got consistent at the start and lodge spam, I began getting far runs much more often. At this point I expected to beat it relatively fast, but I was wrong. Every time I got close to the end, I failed, whether it was to bs or my strats not working despite being consistent in practice. I failed pre-finale easily 25+ times even though it is objectively not that hard. And to top it off, most of these fails came after I somehow managed to fail the final jump of the obby (filler), making them even more demotivating. I expected to take much longer on the obby after failing last jump, due to how hard the finale is in real runs and my atrocious luck on pre-finale. Luckily, I managed to beat it after getting back to finale for a 2nd time after failing last, somehow not failing the longjump onto the 1 stud ladder at all (imo the hardest jump of the obby). In my personal opinion, this is the 2nd hardest tiered obby I have beaten (out of 11 tier 17s on 60fps), sitting behind only sepuluh. It it currently heavily underrated on the top obbies list, sitting at #20, when it should be #13 at the very least, arguably higher. The obby itself is actually very high quality despite being made in 2022. The design is simple, but it fits the obby well. The gameplay is easily the most balanced out of any verified tier 17 obby, the only outliers being the long jump to 1 stud ladder at the end and lodge spam at the beginning. I hope more people try to beat this, so it becomes more evident how much more difficult this obby is than it seems. I definitely recommend going for it if you have the skill, but be ready for a challenge. Fun fact: I only have one vipsem obby left to have completed every main list vipsem obby.
