An Illinois man went on a first date with a woman who owned a fitness studio on the night before Thanksgiving in 2021. Christopher Smith met Leslie Reeves at a local saloon and had a drink before heading back to his house to eat pizza. Then, the night took a turn for the worse when a man broke through the back door and shot both of them.
