On November 27, 2025, a preview event and press conference for “A Bunch of Stuff - Tokyo” was held at “+Base 0,” 2F NEWoMan South, Takanawa Gateway (Minato-ku, Tokyo), with Johnny Depp himself appearing on stage. Long before gaining fame through film and music, painting had been a deeply personal sanctuary for Depp — a place for contemplation and escape. His studio, filled with sketches, paintings, and silkscreen experiments, served as a private space where creativity flowed freely. For the first time outside the United States, more than 100 artworks, personal belongings, and rare items have been transported directly from Depp’s studio to Tokyo, allowing visitors to experience the intimate atmosphere of his creative space. From self-portraits created over 30 years ago to his recent expressive works, each piece reflects fragments of his experiences, emotions, and imagination.
