Lush greenery and a touch of water—the millrace, an arm of the Bode, meanders through our grounds (the Bode River flows behind our site)—and numerous natural stones of various sizes are a defining feature. Therefore, all campers should be aware that the ground is very hard, a challenge many guests, and even we ourselves, have faced. Strong tent pegs are essential for tents, caravans, and awnings/canopies! The town hall square is about a 15-minute walk away. Continuing on, you'll reach the entrance to the Bode Valley in approximately 10-15 minutes.
