President of the AMIPI Foundation, he is pursuing a unique human, industrial, and social endeavor. For several decades, AMIPI has supported people with cognitive or mental disabilities (Down syndrome, autism, schizophrenia, or intellectual disabilities) by enabling them to thrive through work in learning factories that produce for major industrial companies like Renault and Stellantis. His ambition? To demonstrate that everyone can progress, learn, and reach their full potential when given the right conditions to develop their skills and find their place in society. Inspired in particular by the work of neuropsychiatrist Jean-Michel Oughourlian and René Girard's theory of mimetic desire, the AMIPI model is based on a strong conviction: 👉 The brain develops through learning, and learning begins with relationships with others, imitation, action, and work. Through its six learning factories, the AMIPI Foundation demonstrates every day that work is not just a means of production. It is also a lever for autonomy, dignity, self-confidence, and inclusion.
