Chapter 11: Part 1-ANSYS topology optimization for using less material to achieve maximum stiffness.
There are two parts for this topic. In part 1: we show how to use topology optimization in ANSYS workbench to reduce mass but keep the level of stiffness of the structure. In part 2, we will show how to use response surface optimization in ANSYS to further optimize the structure based on design of experiment concept.
