We thought finding water would be our biggest challenge on this 6-day bikepacking trip through the remote Davenport Ranges. We were wrong. Join me on an epic solo bikepacking adventure into the heart of Australia's Iytwelepenty / Davenport Ranges National Park. This is a land of surreal landscapes, ancient gorges, and stunning, hidden waterholes. For six days, my survival depended entirely on filtering water from these precious rockholes, a constant challenge in the vastness of the outback. But the true test wasn't just against the elements. Before I got to the park there were bulls and cattle in the middle of the road. Having to ride staright upto them hopping they would move. My heart racing.
