1998 PWBA Sam's Town Invitational Full Telecast

The date was November 21st, 1998! The Sam's Town Casino and Bowling Center had gone through a facelift. New lanes and masking units were installed just shortly before the start of this tournament. In this particular event, Two of the five contestants were vying for the triple crown. They were 5th seeded Anne Marie Duggan and top seeded Dede Davidson. 2nd seeded Marianne DiRupo broke a previous record of most perfect games within a tournament. The NJ Native posted 4 perfect games in this event. Previously held record was two perfectos. Last but not least, former Team USA bowler Julie Gardner was 4th seeded and the 1987 Sam's Town Invitational winner Debbie Bennett-Rinella were in this telecast.
