Welcome to the Official channel of Ustad Amir Mohammad Ustad Amir Mohammad was born in 1310 AH (solar hijri calendar) in the village of Qabil Bai, Deh Sabz district, Kabul province. His father, Pir Mohammad, was a rabab player. He began singing at the age of ten and became a student of the late Ustad Mohammad Omar. Professor Mohammad Omar's teaching methods on the one hand, and Ustad Amir Mohammad's interest and efforts on the other, caused his joyful voice to become increasingly popular at celebratory gatherings from Kabul to Herat, from Herat to Balkh, and from there to Nangarhar and other parts of the country. In 1993 AD, when the power struggles made life more difficult for everyone, he was forced to leave his homeland and became a refugee abroad, settling in the city of Quetta, Balochistan. In 1997 AD, he was invited to the United States and Germany to perform. After completing his programs, he intended to visit his daughter in Iran but passed away due to a heart attack."
