I Found One of Southern California's Best Campsites Join us as we explore Black Mountain Road near Idyllwild, California for the very first time. What started as a simple weekend adventure turned into one of the most incredible campsites we've ever found. After making our way up the mountain, we discovered a peaceful campsite perched high above the valley with breathtaking views in every direction. We spent the evening relaxing in the hammock, enjoying a cold beer, watching an unforgettable sunset, and cooking burgers on the Tembo Tusk Skottle. As the sun disappeared behind the mountains, we settled in around the campfire and enjoyed a quiet night under the stars. The next morning brought a beautiful sunrise, fresh espresso, and cinnamon rolls before taking in the views one last time.
