→ Nail one-handed 16ths, open-hat barks, and left foot independence in 9 lessons. Download my FREE pdf guide, “Your 3 Biggest Hihat Problems, SOLVED” ✔︎ https://the-non-glamorous-drummer.myk... Stop practicing rudiments…until you’ve mastered THIS technique first. What technique am I talking about? I’m talking about the most important, fundamental drumming technique that is so often overlooked. Without having this technique under your belt, you could practice rudiments for years and never be able to achieve the results you desire. Make sure that you’re “playing with a full deck” and using your hands and fingers to the best of your ability. When your technique is squared away, the rudiments will fall into place naturally. This isn’t rocket science - just some simple steps to patiently work on in your practicing. This is just another one of those really non glamorous videos that isn’t very exciting at all. But I guarantee you that by circling back to these basics, you will save time and frustration in your practicing. I’ve found this to always be true in my practicing and growing as a player. If you like what you’ve seen here on the NonGlamorousDrummer, I hope you’ll SUBSCRIBE! This channel is all about giving you the tips and skills you REALLY need to help YOU become a better drummer.
