Andrea Branzi by Toyo Ito: Continuous Present is a tribute inspired by the close relationship Andrea Branzi maintained with these two institutions. On the one hand, his collaboration with the Triennale Milano, as a designer, theorist, and curator, unfolded through numerous projects carried out between 1968 and 2022. On the other hand, the reflections that led him to design the two environments presented in the Open Enclosures exhibition, organized at the Fondation Cartier in 2008 and since integrated into its collection, constitute a unique desire to make the boundaries between landscape, architecture, art, and design porous.
