“Steering assist fault, service required” warning in Ford cars

Ford vehicles with electric power steering can throw the “Steering assist fault, service required” error message. And it means that the problem is most likely with the EPAS or Electric Power Assisted Steering system. Unfortunately, it’s very commonly solved by replacing the steering rack which is absolutely not that cheap. In this video, I will tell you what else can cause this error message to pop up on the screen. And I will also show you several ideas on what you can do to try and solve the problem.
