I'm tired of going out or to events and seeing gentlemen wearing all kinds of nonsense that, honestly, makes them look terrible. Style is relative, and we have total freedom to wear whatever we want, but for your own good, seriously, never wear the following 7 things. The first item I'm going to destroy today is magnetic glasses. You know, the ones your 50-year-old uncle, who got beaten up and always wears open and dangling around his neck. It's really hard to buy good, nice frames; they'll give you so much class, style, and elegance. Gentlemen who wear these types of glasses strike me as too lazy to take them off and put them away when they're not needed. Another thing that makes my eyes bleed is when they wear dress shirts, untucked, with sweatpants. This criticism might cost me dearly because a guy does this frequently, even at Christmas dinners, but oh well. I honestly don't understand what the hell people who do this are thinking; it obviously looks terrible. If you're going to wear sweatpants, wear a sports shirt. If you're going to wear a dress shirt, wear dress pants; it doesn't have to be formal. They can be jeans or chinos. Never, under any circumstances, wear Crocs. If you're going to wear them for work reasons, go ahead, but the moment you step foot outside the kitchen or the lab or whatever place you work and wear Crocs, you take them off and put on something decent—sneakers, if you want, sneakers, but nice, stylish ones. It takes 60 seconds and makes a huge difference. Let's be honest, no matter how much effort you put into your outfit, if you end up with Crocs, you've thrown it away. I'm always saying that you shouldn't sacrifice any visual length, especially in the leg. Cargo pants are vertical interruptions that don't help you look better. By the way, we can include cargo shorts here... The next item on my list is the huuuuuuge hoodies—not big, huuuuuuge. Okay, big too. Again, okay, stop peeking. Get rid of that. This isn't a good look; it makes you look criminal. It makes you look immature, fat, irresponsible, whatever. If you like hoodies, just find them in your size, in a good cut, and you'll look great. But I recommend wearing simple, cute pullovers or jumpers with a good fit and interesting textures. This next one is really responsible for all these gray hairs I have. It's your fault. And it's white socks, and not all of them because there are mainly white ones that look good if worn correctly, but white athletic socks. The ones your mom bought you by the dozen when you were little. Stop it, you didn't have a choice when you were little, but look at yourself, you're a real man now, you wear socks properly. Finally, let's attack t-shirts with ridiculous prints. All those with offensive, misogynistic, sexist, or racist texts, well, they simply make you a real moron and shouldn't exist. Those with a more lighthearted humor simply make you look immature.
