It means that you can add your own stats and elementals of your liking. I prefer Attack, Range & Musou Charge. While lightning & ice are my choice. Plus adding 6 new characters is also great addition. Kojiro & Katsuie were special guards in SW 2 version but in XL version, they are playable and they are AWESOME. Toshiie is a great character too, no doubt but the other three characters aren't that great. When I played Kojiro, he is a beast because of his excellent moves, life stealing, etc. But he is creepy as hell. The way he talks gives me hibbity jibbies..
