Abgründe im Synchronschwimmen – Übergriffe und Vetternwirtschaft im Leistungssport | SRF Dok
Anouk, Fabienne, and Aline were members of the Swiss national synchronized swimming team for years and participated in World and European Championships. They spoke with SRF Investigativ reporters Maj-Britt Horlacher and Nina Blaser about the dark side of this sport. Synchronized swimming demands an enormous amount from the girls and young women—and even today, it's almost exclusively women. The training sessions and the way they're treated at the pool are tough, often beyond what's bearable. Anouk, Fabienne, and Aline know this from years of experience. All three grew up in the canton of Bern, and all three started synchronized swimming at a very young age. Soon, the first competitions followed. Physical and psychological abuse were part of everyday life, they say, "that's the synchronized swimming life." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🔔 Subscribe to SRF Dok on YouTube now https://www.youtube.com/srfdok?sub_co... 👉 Would you like to suggest a topic?
