Unsticking a Seized PTO Shaft using a Torch and Palm Nailer
If you have a PTO shaft that is seized and won't slide any more because of rust or corrosion, this trick may help you. I had a PTO shaft on a Frontier 72" finish mower that I couldn't get to move after trying off and on for a couple weeks. Finally, I tried a PALM NAILER. I believe the palm nailers rapid heavy hammering, along with HEAT broke the rust free from the PTO shaft. I can now use my finish mower on my tractor again!
