$12 Valve Cover Paint Job | k Swap | Civic Build Series

This video i didnt get a lot done aside from the valve cover being painted. i was pretty sick and with a sick kid so theres that. but if you want to repaint your k series valve cover use some wax and grease remover and a red scotch brite ( it helps cut into the original factory paint and cleans at the same time). use some high tempered primer, sand the primer down with 320 to get some of the imperfections out and reapply a new coat of primer and you are ready for paint. this high temp paint can be kind of hard to work with but just be patient. the materials i used are listed below. this is a great solution to save money if you dont want to spend the 300 plus dollars on a pre painted aftermarket valve cover.
