Words are powerful, beautiful, and dangerous. When used correctly they can uplift us, comfort us and guide. The language we choose to use when speaking to (and about) young people in education can often be detrimental. Words have a lasting impact, they can make or break us. This talk will explore the power of words in education, on social media and in our personal lives. Varaidzo spends her time making content for YouTube, and just recently finished presenting a series for BBC Teach.
