In this video I show how to install and configure the Immich app as an alternative to Google Photos. I run it on TrueNAS and integrate it into the domain using Cloudflare, which allows secure remote access. I explain step-by-step how to prepare datasets, allocate resources and optimally distribute data between different disk pools. I also show Immich features such as automatic photo upload, face recognition, deduplication and video transcoding. Finally, I look into the file system to show where and how data is stored.
