2023 ProStart Invitational

The South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Foundation (SCRLF) hosted its 2023 South Carolina ProStart Invitational presented by the United States Coast Guard on Monday, March 6 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Resort Myrtle Beach Oceanfront. Anderson Career and Technical Center won first place in the Culinary Competition hosted by Cool Care Heating, Air, Plumbing and Refrigeration. Golden Strip Career and Technology Center won first place in the Restaurant Management Competition, also hosted by Cool Care. ProStart is a career and technical education program that unites the foodservice industry and the classroom to teach high school students culinary skills and restaurant management principles, as well as employability skills.
