From Philadelphia, tired and damp from the heat, racing against time, I flew to another continent, to Naples – my next stopover on the way home, where I spent almost a day and a half. On the one hand, the city is as innocent as a rose in a glass, on the other, mischievous, like a young gypsy without a clue. For some, Naples is a dirty, inelegant city, for others, a stopover on the way to the islands. But for me, Naples is San Severeo and Da Michele. Two eternities embodied in stone and gastronomy.
