This video will show you how to make a simple and reliable template for precise cutting of workpieces with a hand-held circular saw. This device is especially useful when working with laminate, baseboards, trims, lining and other lumber where the accuracy of angles is important. Problem: The hand-held circular saw often veers to the side, it is difficult to maintain a perfectly right angle, and there is nothing to say about a 45-degree cut without play. Solution: We will create a rigid base from laminate (it is flat and stable) and attach a guide rail to it. The saw will move strictly along the given trajectory, guaranteeing a perfect cut. To make it we will need: A piece of laminate or flat plywood (base) Wooden strip or block (guide) Self-tapping screws Roulette, square The hand-held circular saw itself In the video we will examine in detail: How to properly mark out a base for absolute accuracy. How to securely fasten the guide so that it does not warp. How to use a jig for 90 degree cuts. What removable part needs to be added to make 45 degree cuts easy and quick?
