Is a USED Alfa Romeo Giulia the SMART Choice for 2025?

About a year ago, I had NO IDEA what this car is. Now I'm so deep into the worm hole of the beautiful Alfa Romeo Giulia. Normally I don't pay too much attention to European cars because I think I lack a lot of soul, but this is a different case. Yes, European cars can make a lot of power with little mods (like the VW Golf R and Audi RS3), but I prefer to drive a slow car fast, one that makes you feel connected to the road even at 30km/h. This car does exactly that, albeit, in a brilliant 8SP auto box and not a manual. The Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce is not only beautiful to look at, it's beautiful to drive. The 2.0L 4 cyl turbo is zippy and has decent torque, the 8sp auto gearbox by ZF is fast and smooth, the steering rack is very fast and feels super direct, and the suspension (which I will dive into more technical information about it in the future) makes for a very comfortable but sporty drive. I've actually bought and own this car now, after 4 years of owning a Subaru WRX (more information on why in the next video). Did I get sick of driving a manual? Nope. Did my WRX break? Nope. Did I go crazy? Yeah, maybe. It's been a month since I bought it and boy am I happy with the decision. But yes, I do miss driving a manual. The car drives unbelievably well in stock form. The perfect 50:50 weight distribution can be felt throughout the chassis of the car and is very well balanced. Brand new, the RRP is not worth the package, however, on the used market, at less than 50% of the original value, this is possibly the best bargain for a sports luxury car in 2025.
