At the inauguration of the Benito Juárez García University for Well-being campus in Armería, Colima, we guaranteed the budget to consolidate 200 campuses of this higher education institution. Currently, 145 are operational. We recommend that the remaining 55 schools offer medicine and nursing programs to train more healthcare professionals, which the country needs. The Director General of the Coordinating Body of the Benito Juárez García Universities for Well-being, Raquel Sosa Elízaga, reported that 21 higher education schools are nearing completion, bringing the total to 145 operating nationwide. The federal government has allocated 4 billion pesos for the installation, equipping, and operation of these campuses. The facility inaugurated this Saturday in Armería cost 13 million pesos. The delivery of Welfare Programs will continue in the municipality and the state. The goal is to continue supporting its residents. In Armería, to date, 131 apprentices are enrolled in the Youth Building the Future program; 70 university students, 729 high school students, and children in primary and secondary education receive scholarships. 3,062 senior citizens receive bimonthly pensions, and, in collaboration with the state government, people with disabilities of all ages receive benefits. 706 children of working mothers attend daycare centers. Funding is provided to 61 local fishermen and 322 farmers through the Sowing Life program. A branch of the Banco del Bienestar (Bank of Well-being) will be built in the municipality.
