Was der Renten-Zoff über den Sozialstaat verrät – Ep. 328

Generational conflict instead of class struggle: Currently, it seems as if the Young Union is fighting on behalf of the younger generation, while the SPD and Friedrich Merz are pandering to pensioners. While one side wants to lower pension levels as quickly as possible, the other also wants to lower them, but not quite so rapidly. Should one side? The reality is this: Employees are primarily being pitted against each other, and the real injustice of the pension system is being ignored. To understand the absurdity of this debate, we should fundamentally understand and critique the pension system. In doing so, we also learn how dire the situation already is for most pensioners in Germany. Even though we keep hearing reports of pension increases, we shouldn't be misled. More on this from Ole Nymoen and Wolfgang M. Schmitt in the new episode of "Prosperity for All." Our additional content can be found here: Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/de/podcast...
