We will focus on the lesser-known and smaller towns, such as Taormina, Matera, Polignano a Mare, Alberobello, Locorotondo, Positano, Procida, Assisi, Siena, San Gimignano, and Cinque Terre. 1. TAORMINA Taormina is a town located on the eastern coast of Sicily, famous for its beautiful beaches, magnificent architecture, and rich history. Taormina is a popular holiday destination in Italy. Taormina is beautifully situated and offers many tourist attractions, including the Greek Theatre. Beautiful beaches, such as Isola Bella Beach, are located in the Taormina area. 2.
