The Class IIA Bagansiapiapi Penitentiary in Rokan Hilir Regency conducted a joint raid with the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) on Friday (May 8, 2026) to ensure a clean prison environment free from drugs, illegal cell phones, and fraudulent practices. During the raid, officers searched inmates' rooms for prohibited items. No drugs or illegal cell phones were found. However, officers did confiscate several items prohibited in prison rooms, such as knives, screwdrivers, spoons, perfume, and even infant milk bottles. In addition to the raid, the prison also conducted urine tests on 50 inmates and several officers. The results showed that all participants tested negative for drugs.
