How to winterize a Volvo Penta Gen 5 V8 or V6

Fuel system and coolant winterization process for a Volvo Penta Gen 5 boat engine. Boat winterizing kit: https://amzlink.to/az04B6exN7w0j RV/Marine antifreeze: https://amzlink.to/az0KZHHnmMTKi (1 gallon) or https://amzlink.to/az0BzOAs3m1Rb (4 gallons) Again - the winterizing kit and RV/Marine antifreeze are not required per Volvo's procedure, but I explain why I do it from about the 35 second to 1 minute mark of the video (being in Iowa, I am extra cautious/OCD about this.....). STA-BIL Marine fuel stabilizer: https://amzlink.to/az0zVBnLs6FDW (8 oz, treats 80 gallons) or https://amzlink.to/az01uZUfxfgcZ (32 oz, treats 320 gallons) Stihl 2-cycle oil: https://amzlink.to/az0RayU7yunmP (3 pack) Any quality 2 cycle oil will work, but this is what I use. Inexpensive gas tank if needed: https://amzlink.to/az0D2WAb1xtdo or https://amzlink.to/az0oYqFhtszrc Not in the video, but I also pull my batteries and place rodent repellant in the boat while stored. I have had good luck with 'Fresh Cab' repellant. I buy a 4 pack, and put 2 in front and 2 in back. Then replace with new ones about mid-way through storage. https://amzlink.to/az0b4oE2o8XSw I also remove any items I feel a mouse may want to use as nesting material (lifejackets, floaties, noodles, etc.) and store those in the basement.
