FLAMENGO - BAP SAYS HE WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST LEILA'S FAMILY'S PLAN TO BUY VASCO --- BAP, president of Flamengo, has publicly stated that he will take legal action if the purchase of Vasco's SAF (Sociedade Anônima do Futebol - Football Limited Company) by the Lamacchia family goes through. And he has legal grounds for this. In this video, I show all the public statements of Leila Pereira, José Roberto Lamacchia, and Marcos Lamacchia, placing them side-by-side, and exposing the contradictions that make the narrative that Marcos is "completely independent" unsustainable. Article 62 of the General Sports Law (Law 14.597/2023) prohibits members of the same family with shared structural economic interests from holding positions in competing clubs. The prohibition is objective, preventive, and structural. It doesn't need to prove interference. The economic link is sufficient. José Lamacchia is a Palmeiras board member with the third-highest vote count in history (176 votes), is married to the club's president, and declared on national television that he put "all my assets" up as collateral for the purchase of Vasco. At the same time, Leila said that he "could not under any circumstances negotiate the purchase of a club." The two statements cannot be true at the same time.
