This week we continue with our DIY roof replacement, as we take on the bulk of the slating. It's a long process, as we nail each slate on one by one, as well as put in the new lead valleys. It's certainly a lot for one person, but no bother as my wife is up for the task. I can't believe she re roofed our house with absolutely no experience! This cottage renovation is really going to fly now we have two of us on the job properly, and with the roof almost finished, we can start to think about building a home!
