The Prehistoric Lake Villages of Europe are EXTRAORDINARY - who knew?

It’s not often that we’re genuinely deeply shocked by something we’ve discovered. We knew that there were modern recreations of prehistoric lakeside villages from the Neolithic that could provide interesting photogenic locations for the Göbekli Tepe to Stonehenge Project - but we had come to regard them as one-offs, as oddities along the route - fascinating in their own right, yes - but not fundamental to telling the story of the Neolithic in Europe.
