The Disappearance of Asha Degree
A 9 year old girl named Asha Degree went missing from her home in Shelby, North Carolina, she apparently left her parents house in the early morning hours of February 14, 2000. To this day it's still unknown why Asha packed her bookbag and left her home in the middle of the night and began walking along the nearby North Carolina Highway 18 despite heavy rain and wind.
