Thunderhill West Track Day (10-25-25)

Me and Raven, my 2017 Yamaha FZ-10, doing a track day at Thunderhill Raceway's West track with a couple of my Superbike-coach teammates: Coach Can Akkaya & Nick "The Enforcer" Baker (Nick is a retired police officer). The speed and g-force indicators are based on the GPS in my GoPro Hero 7 Black. During this track day, I was able to get a transponder "sticker" that kept track of my lap times during the day. Unfortunately, this one didn't get recorded that I could tell but I have one showing me my best lap at 1:34.3! This day, I continued my work with Coach Can to get my mind into "road racing" thinking instead "street or motocross" thinking and I have to say, I did much better then at Laguna Seca...ha ha. I'm now starting to get into the habit of taking a track map with me and taking notes as to my line and braking markers. Like I've always said, riding motorcycles is an ongoing learning cycle and if you aren't learning then you're shorting yourself in getting better! THANKS COACH CAN!
