Triumph Tiger Sport 660 (2026) First Ride Review | 4K POV

I had the chance to test ride the Triumph Tiger Sport 660, originally planning to try the 800cc version, but it wasn’t available. It was my first time riding a motorcycle with this kind of upright, touring-focused position, and the experience was very comfortable and natural right away. The typical Triumph 3-cylinder engine was a highlight—smooth, responsive, and very refined throughout the rev range. The quickshifter worked seamlessly, adding to the overall smoothness of the ride. Power delivery was linear and predictable, making it easy to control even when pushing a bit harder. Wind protection was surprisingly good for this class, and the bike felt very stable at higher speeds. While the 660 has enough power for most situations, I could clearly see how the 800 version would offer that extra punch and flexibility, especially for touring and overtaking. After this ride, I’m seriously considering the Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Tour version, especially with features like handguards, heated grips, center stand, comfort seat, 6-axis IMU, and improved wind protection. It feels like a very complete touring package. At this point, it will be hard to beat this bike. The only other motorcycle I’ll probably try is the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT, although it is noticeably more expensive.
