In addition to being the lead singer of the pop band OneRepublic, Ryan Tedder is also an accomplished singer/songwriter and producer who has collaborated with a number of big-name artists. Tedder was born in Tulsa, OK, in 1979, and grew up in Colorado, where he studied Suzuki music. He attended Oral Roberts University before moving to Nashville and then New York before accepting an offer from hip-hop producer Timbaland to become his protégé. By 2007, when Tedder became the frontman of OneRepublic, he had already written songs for Natasha Bedingfield, Jennifer Lopez, Hila Duff, and Leona Lewis, among others.
