Grow your Tradescantia Plant! Propagate Cuttings in Soil, Water, or Sphagnum Moss

Hi, planty friends! In this video, I show how to prune your tradescantia plant as well as how to propagate new plants from cuttings! Included will be helpful tips I've learned through my experience with certain "finicky" varieties like tradescantia fluminensis variegata as well as tradescantia mundula rainbow/tricolor. best, jo Varieties I prefer to root in water: Tradescantia Fluminensis 'Variegata' Tradescantia Fluminensis 'Lavender' - does well with soil propagation as well Tradescantia Mundula 'Rainbow/tricolor' Varieties I prefer to root in soil: Tradescantia Pallida 'Purple Heart' (callous first) Tradescantia Zebrina 'Multi-Color Discolor' Tradescantia Fluminensis 'Aureovariegata' Callisia Elegans (callous first) Callisia Repens 'Bianca' * Also does well in a propagation box with long-fiber sphagnum moss.
