My First Day in Kuching 🇲🇾 | This City Caught Me Off Guard

I didn’t really know what to expect when I arrived in Kuching Sarawak but this walk through the city genuinely surprised me. In this vlog I take you along as I explore Kuching on foot wandering through the streets Chinatown and Little India trying local Sarawak food like Sarawak Laksa and Kueh Chap - visiting a Chinese temple, the historic Old Courthouse and the beautiful floating mosque. We finish the day along the river with a Kuching river cruise and traditional Sarawak dance performances. What stood out to me most was how clean quiet and peaceful the city feels. Wide roads relaxed energy friendly people and a slower pace that instantly made me feel calm and grounded. Kuching feels different in the best way. Less chaotic more spacious and surprisingly comforting. It’s a city that invites you to slow down walk and simply take it all in.
