Cheap way of adding extra storage | 80 Series Land Cruiser Overland Build Rear Storage Lid Mod

Back at it with the DIY mods and cutting into the Land Cruiser 😬 This time we cut 2 holes into the tailgate to make use of the empty space within the tailgate. To do this mod we bought 2 marine access hatches from Amazon and placed them into the holes that were cut into the rear gate. There are really great pre-made kits you can buy at a hefty price (which probably looks nicer) but since we are trying to save money wherever we can we thought to give this a try! This mod was inspired by what ‪@Salty.Sunrise‬ did to the rear gate on Goose! Thanks for the inspo!
