Guerrero, bajo ataque: denuncian protección del gobierno a líderes de la 'Familia Michoacana'

Residents of Guajes de Ayala, Guerrero, reported an armed attack on their community using drones, explosives, and firearms, while families, women, and children remained sheltered and pleaded for help from the federal government. Javier, the communal land commissioner, asserted that the attacks continued even after the arrival of members of the Mexican Army (Sedena). The commissioner stated that they had alerted authorities about the criminal incursion a month prior, but received no response. He indicated that the groups are seeking to displace communities in order to seize control of the strategic territory in the mountains. Furthermore, Javier accused the Guerrero state government and authorities of allegedly protecting leaders identified as "El Fresa" and "El Pez," whom he linked to La Familia Michoacana, and claimed there was a supposed conspiracy to allow the displacement of villages and the control of the mountains. These accusations are based on the commissioner's statements and have not been verified by the authorities.
