Spearfishing Atlantic HALIBUT under the ARCTIC midnight sun

In late August 2024 we returned to Northern Norway in search of a fish shrouded in mystery - the atlantic halibut. We had five days of condidtions one can only dream of. Summer is not the best time of year to find these giants, but there is something magical about the arctic summer. The midnight sun that fuels the breathtaking nature teeming with life. Water temperatures upwards of 15 celsius made the visibility quite poor at times, and the fish had migrated deeper towards cooler water. Not ideal, but we refused to let it stop us.
