Hayward pool filter vavle gasket change**Put Valve back in in filter position***

Clean very good, dry, put a thin layer of permatex gasket maker on the bottom of the new 5 spoke gasket, clean around where top O-ring seal goes and o-ring or replace if needed and lube only the o-ring with some silicon grease and reassemble taking care to ****MAKE SURE YOU PUT TOP OFF VAVLE BACK ON IN FILTER POSITION SO GASKET WILL SEAT CORRECTLY*** evenly tighten top, tighen by hand! Don't over tighten! Wait 24 hours or so...*Prime pump basket* before running and make sure all shut off valves are open if any were closed.... Good luck!
