Geology - The Bluffs at Dungeness Spit near Sequim, WA | Olympic Peninsula
Join me for a look at the Bluffs at Dungeness Spit. I learned about this geology field trip in a book called Geology Underfoot in Western Washington by Dave Tucker. It’s a great resource for learning geology and discovering where to see some interesting examples in person. The book has 22 suggested field trips with photos, diagrams and explanations. This one is on page 259, #17 “A Spit in the Sea, Dungeness Spit.” I visited the bluffs in February, 2023.
