【Highlight བརྙན་ཐུང་འོས་སྦྱོར།】Animals on the Source of Three Rivers

Pedma Gangri is located in between the Drichu and Dachu. A kind of primate animal – Yunnan golden monkeys – live here. Their face resemble the human face. At the same time, another kind of creature that makes home on this plateau are black-necked cranes. They only exist on the plateau. The Tibetans call them Lhasha Trong Trong Karmo (holly cranes).
