A Última Viagem de Gabriel Buchmann

Continuing the series of videos covering mountain searches and rescues, the AltaMontanha Team recalls what happened to Gabriel Buchmann, a young economist who remained missing for 19 days on Mount Mulanje, Malawi in 2009. In the video in question, Geographer and Mountaineer Pedro Hauck, together with Pedro da Cunha Menezes, Director of the Brazilian Trail Network, report the event and mourn the loss. The story gave rise to "Gabriel and the Mountain", a film by Fellipe Gamarano Barbosa, which portrays the last steps of the Economist, from Rio de Janeiro. It's worth checking out.
