Off Roading The 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4Xe Rubicon! Better Than A Bronco?

👋 The newly updated 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon equipped with the hybrid 4Xe powertrain is off road ready right? Well today we take the Rubicon 4Xe on the trails to see how well it stacks up to other off road vehicles we've tested. We even recently brought the Raptor Bronco out here and it conquered everything with ease! The 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is also very equipped to handle off roading. I will say this could use taller tires and a small lift to keep up with what the Bronco Raptor could do. But the Raptor is also $20k more expensive. The Jeep Wrangler 392 with 35in tires would have done perfectly fine like the Raptor. And I can assume a normal Bronco that is similar in price to the Wrangler we tested would do about the same. Just a bit of ground clearance issues with a stock Rubicon, but that can easily be fixed. The 4Xe powertrain was awesome off roading! We had it in electric mode the whole time and it was so cool! Silently off roading through the trails utilizing plenty of torque and the 4x4 system the Jeep crawls over every obstacle! There was plenty of articulation with the swaybar disconnect and it really was very comfortable in the dirt. I like how the 4Xe system works overall. In Hybrid mode it will use the engine and EV system as needed to work efficiently and give you the most power when desired. Going down hill the battery would regenerate a lot so we always hade plenty of charge.
