I send all the Main speaker output to a L/R linked Matrix (1/2) PRE EQ I have a non-routed bus for sending extra signal from acoustic instruments that we don't push hard in the mains also sent to the L/R (1/2) Matrix to have the flexibility to make up for the quieter piano or bass amplifier On the Matrix - I use 14db of make up gain to help with quieter segments. I have an aggressive threshold and 20:1 compression ratio with a swift attack (dial this down to zero or close to it). I use the SOLO on the matrix to monitor the output level and match or come close to matching inputs on the BlackMagic to the output from the M32.
