We’re finally in Scotland, and we’re here to check out Edinburgh. This place packs such a punch, you’ve really never seen a city so lively. Every cobbled corner we turned, there was someone playing an iconic bagpipe tune, a church choir singing sweetly, or a street performer doing wild stunts. We were captivated by the colourful streets, old buildings, and Harry Potter references, and then swept away to the most beautiful viewpoint of the city at sunset. We totally understand J.K. Rowling’s fascination and inspiration in her books. Forever our favourite city in Scotland (though a few come close second). Edinburgh city is shaped around an extinct, ancient volcanic hill, and perched right on top is the famous Edinburgh Castle.
